The Mind of an Engineer

The Heart Behind the Hide

"Everything Leather is where worlds collide. Every design is a system, built for a lifetime of use. Every stitch is a point of structural integrity."

Artisan Shabi Tloubatla applies industrial engineering precision to the ancient craft of leatherworking. The result is a collection of goods that don't just look premium—they are engineered to survive.

The Anatomy of a Masterpiece

Where an Engineer's Precision Meets an Artisan's Passion.

1. Sourcing the Hide

Every project begins with hand-selecting the finest full-grain leather, chosen for its unique character and ability to develop a rich patina.

2. Cutting the Pattern

With a steady hand and a sharp steel blade, each component is meticulously cut with focus and precision to ensure zero structural waste.

3. The Saddle Stitch

Using only tried and tested hand-stitching techniques, creating an interlocking stitch that is exponentially stronger than any machine.

4. Finishing the Edge

Edges are beveled, sanded, and burnished with beeswax to create a smooth, durable finish that signifies true engineering craftsmanship.
